This oil begins with organic golden, cold-pressed Jojoba oil, which mimics our skin’s own sebum allowing it to absorb with ease and support natural barrier function without clogging pores. Over several weeks (4-12!), whole Frankincense resin is gently infused into this liquid wax, drawing in its full spectrum of volatile oils, resins, and boswellic acids. We dance, for weeks with a relationship to heat that allows the Frankincese resins various compounds to be coaxed into the Jojoba oil, without overheating.
This method retains both aromatic and resinous constituents, offering the skin a complete expression of Frankincense’s ancient healing prowess known for supporting elasticity, calming inflammation, and encouraging cellular regeneration.
